Can’t keep up with all lives and dreams

Turning into ashes after they turn into teens

A young man in high school starts to dream

I want to be a race driver, a mountain climber

Then marry miss universe, along the sea

Be a millionaire before thirty three

Get a Nobel prize and just be free

Get out of hick town and live in Paris

Leave family to bond with the unforeseen

By twenty five all these dreams are ashes

Flying into the sky as quick as flashes

By the age of thirty five, he drinks from night to dawn

He notices his stove can’t take it all

Opens the stove and ashes fall

It’s time for him to buy a shovel

And collect it all
