Purpose of a Tree

The tree grows taller every year

Only takes in water and light, but not much care

Gives unconditional care in return

Shade, oxygen and fruits to be fair

Giving in return is her way

Only taking is its ultimate despair

One tree feeds another in need

This is the purpose of a tree indeed

Staying at the same location … she agrees

As long as she gets to serve, she is pleased
