I’ve been carrying this feeling for so long

Anger, resentment and hatred of some kind

My heart is the prisoner of my thoughts

My thoughts recap the past of not being kind

My body imitates the pain in my thoughts

My words speak a hatred to all

My actions break the hearts of those I love

It’s not good for me to hold on

To the hatred, when all it causes is harm

I made a decision once and for all

With every breath of mine

To replace the hatred with LOVE
