Good Thoughts, Good Deeds, Good Words

There was a teaching in decades past

That we need more of, in contrast

You can always choose your path

But be mindful of your pick at last

Good thoughts, good deeds, and good words

Are the three bases of humanity in this world

Don’t let yourself be polluted with your thoughts

That’s the kind of poison that could end your life

Judging, hating, anger and rage

It all Starts with negative outrage

Then it leads to your deed

Where you can influence people in need

Be mindful of your words

It could penetrate someone’s heart like a sword

Your thoughts,

Your deeds,

And your words,

All link to each other to create a road

Your past, present and future fate

Don’t let it be full of hate
